Hewlett Foundation Baseball Cards

Graphic Design

The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation is a nonpartisan, private charitable foundation that advances ideas and supports institutions to promote a better world. As a client of GMMB, I had the opportunity to work with the Hewlett Foundation in creating baseball cards for their team members.

The Brief:

While working as a designer at GMMB in Washington, D.C., I was put to the task to design something that would help employees at the Hewlett Foundation better understand each others roles in the company.

The Approach:

We had the idea to make "Baseball Trading Cards" for the different strategy teams. Each card specific to their role. I wanted the cards to be simple and to stay true to Hewlett's brand by utilizing their font and colors.

The Impact:

The Baseball cards turned out great and were used on a training day to get to know other members in the teams. To this day the cards are still being used as a reference for new employees and team members who need help from a program lead.
